Crossing the Minch
Composed by Alex Duthart and one of those scores every solo drummer wants to tackle at some point in their career. This arrangement by Steven has served him well as it was part of his 2006 & 2011 World Solo Drumming Championship winning Hornpipe & Jig set.
Duckin’ & Divin’
Composed by Gordon Parkes – Field Marshal Montgomery Pipe Band. This arrangement was transcribed from the band’s Live in Motherwell album with a few minor twists along the way… a truly great tune and score which always goes down a treat at recitals and concerts.
Father Michael MacDonald’s Silver Jubilee
Written for Fernando Valles in Buens Aires, Argentina. This tune was also played in a 3 parted setting by Simon Fraser University at the World Pipe Band Championships in 2005.
Rhonda Blair
Played in the winning Hornpipe & Jig set at the World Solo Drumming Championships 2012.
This drum score is also part of the Ascension eBook.
Touchin’ Cloth
A four parted hornpipe to round off a hornpipe set, I believe this was written in about 45mins.
This drum score is also part of the Ascension eBook.
