Salute to Max Rayne

I have been asked many times why there isn’t a slower version of the Salute to Max Rayne by Alex Duthart. I thought it would be most beneficial to record into the natural sections that the fanfare is played in. I hope these videos are of good use to you in learning one of the greatest pipe band drum fanfares ever!

Tenor videos by Andrew Elliott.
The PDF contains music for both snare and tenor.

World Solos 2018 Hornpipe & Jig

This was the set of Hornpipes and Jigs I used to help win my 9th Adult World Solo Drumming Championship in 2018. This year featured a new format of pointed hornpipe into a rounded hornpipe followed by two four parted jigs. I selected these tunes as they have been favourites of mine for many years. I hope you enjoy learning and playing these as much as I do.

Tunes: Rhonda Blair, Andrew & Colin Lee, Bronni’s Blue Brozzi, Mason’s Apron.

Limerick Society

Composed by Gus Sicard for the Bagad Cap Caval Drum Corps in early 2000s, Gus re-arranged this fanfare for IDPB in 2010 after an eventful weekend at Jim Butler’s house in Limerick with like minded drumming geeks. The Society is by invitation only and holds an extremely stringent initiation process.
