Angus MacKinnon of Eigg

A wee 2/4 March that didn’t get alot of thought. I think I wrote down the first thing that came into my head so it would be fluent and easy to keep scottish country dance band style.

Major David Manson

We brought this big reel back from our 2016 Worlds medley as it was just too good not to play again.

Prescribed Marches eBook + Videos

During the worldwide pandemic of 2020 I found myself with a significant amount of free time that I would otherwise have been using for commuting to work, band practice, competitions and workshops abroad. I decided to set myself a goal of composing the entire list of RSPBA prescribed tunes to include in this series of books. I have been composing these tunes for bands since the list began, however there were a lot of tunes I had not heard before nevermind compose.
In this book you will find 59 marches of all levels comprising 26 two parted marches and 33 four parted marches. Some tunes have multiple level scores composed for them.
I hope you enjoy playing these scores as much as I did composing them.
Happy drumming!
